Exa Corporation. seeks Technical Account Manager in Burlington, MA (& Other US locations as needed).
Support simulation execution on-site at customer. Train customer simulation engineers simulation execution process. Manage internal engineers to support overflow simulation execution. Identify opportunities to expand simulation usage at customer and decision makers involved with process. Execute proof of concept simulations for new applications to expand simulation usage at customer. Identify and execute simulation process improvement activities. Communicate software improvement needs from customer and feed back to internal software developers.
Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus 4 years' experience. 4 years' experience in applied CFD (computational fluid dynamics) in a product development environment. Knowledge of the following, gained through completion of university level coursework or any amount of previous work experience: Fluid dynamic fundamentals; diesel engine and powertrain cooling systems; CAE (computer aided engineering) applications; physical test methods (i.e. wind tunnel testing); Agricultural Machinery, Construction Equipment, Heavy Vehicles, or Rail. 2 years' account manager / project lead experience at North American supplier. 4 years' Experience providing customer support, consulting, or related customer facing activities. 2 years' Experience with optimization methods and Design of Experiments (DOE). Willingness to travel (up to 25% domestic)
